CITY OF BELFAST SCHOOL OF MUSIC AND THE FORTWILLIAM CENTRE RAISE OVER £1,000 FOR NI HOSPICE REBUILD APPEAL

Staff, students and parents of the City of Belfast School of Music and the Fortwilliam Centre have raised an amazing £1,054.30 after getting into the Christmas spirit and wearing Christmas Jumpers between 2nd December and 5th December 2015. The amount raised is a great boost for the new Somerton Hospice, due to open in Spring 2016.

M2M CYCLE CHALLENGE RAISES OVER £17,000 FOR NORTHERN IRELAND HOSPICE

BACK in June (18th -21st) 2015, a group of Lisburn and Newtownabbey men took on, and successfully completed a massive challenge of cycling 420 miles across the length of Ireland, raising a staggering £17,703.00 for NI Hospice in memory of Ken Bonar.

Belfast Lord Mayor Arder Carson recently visited the construction site of the Northern Ireland Hospice rebuild project. The adult hospice in Belfast is undergoing a £13m rebuild that will make it a world leader in hospice and palliative care, education and research. The Lord Mayor was given a tour of the site and an update on funding - NI Hospice still needs £1.6m to complete the project.
