The U105 Hospice Town Tour raised a staggering £130,000 for Northern Ireland Hospice.
Radio presenters travelled around Belfast and the surrounding areas in a customised Ulsterbus Tours coach during the week long tour that ended on Saturday 5th October.
The team where overwhelmed by the generosity and support of U105 listeners and Northern Ireland Hospice supporters who came to meet the presenters and donate money when the bus arrived in their area.
This year's U105 Hospice Town Tour follows on from the success of the past four annual partnerships between U105 and Northern Ireland Hospice. In previous years, popular breakfast presenter Maurice Jay lived in the shop window of Castle Court for six days and also travelled around 105 towns on a bed to raise money for the charity.
This year the annual U105 Town Tour was focused on securing funds to help with the rebuild of the Hospice’s In-Patient Unit at Somerton House.
