Taking place in Bellaghy on Saturday March 25th Runners, joggers and walkers of all abilities are invited to take part in the Church Island 5k/10k event.
The event has been organised to raise money for the Northern Ireland Hospice. All proceeds on the days are going directly to the charity, in memory of a local lady, Margaret Diamond who passed away in August 2016.
All participants will be supporting this worthwhile cause while taking in the beautiful views around Church Island and beyond.
In addition to post-race refreshments, Wolfe Tones GAC are hosting a health and well-being event on the day. Representatives from various charities and groups will be in attendance, carrying out health checks, offering advice and providing support on well-being and nutrition free of charge. This is open to the whole community. There will be activities for children, including a kids running event and nutrition information.
Registration commences at 10.00am at Wolfe Tones GAC, Bellaghy for a race start time of 12pm.
