Belfast Lord Mayor Arder Carson recently visited the construction site of the Northern Ireland Hospice rebuild project. The adult hospice in Belfast is undergoing a £13m rebuild that will make it a world leader in hospice and palliative care, education and research. The Lord Mayor was given a tour of the site and an update on funding - NI Hospice still needs £1.6m to complete the project.

The South Belfast Hospice Support Group held a coffee and fashion event at the Balmoral Golf Club on Monday 12th January showcasing some of the fabulous fashions from the Hospice Shops and raised an amazing £900 in just an hour and a half. The Balmoral Golf Club also presented the South Belfast Group with a cheque for £1,000 from their ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ event in November 2014.
