MOBILITY THAT MAKES A DIFFERENCE

Disability Needs are delighted to announce that they have chosen to support Northern Ireland Children’s Hospice and are inviting customers to help them make a special Christmas Gift to the local Children’s Charity.

From 11thth November until 23rd December Disability Needs will run a special appeal titled ‘Mobility that Makes a Difference’ which will see the company donate a portion of their sales from both their Belfast and Dublin offices to support the life limited children and their families supported by NI Children’s Hospice.

Established in 1996, Northern Ireland Children’s Hospice is the only dedicated palliative care service in the province and the only organisation that can offer high level support to life limited children with very complex needs who require 24 hour specialist care. Every year, NI Children’s Hospice cares for around 300 life-limited children and young people, and their families living in Northern Ireland who need care that only the Children’s Hospice can provide.

Speaking at the partnership launch, Company Director Mark Spottiswoode said; Disability Needs is a proud supporter of Northern Ireland Children’s Hospice because we believe that providing specialist care for children and families is the most important gift anyone can give.  Customers can help us raise funds for this extremely deserving charity  by purchasing products at a discounted price including Scooters, Wheelchairs, Walk in Baths, Rise and Recliner Chairs and Bathroom Adaptations”.

Noreen Kennedy, Community Fundraising Manager for NI Children’s Hospice added; We are delighted that Disability Needs has chosen to support our charity. Thanks to the support of Disability Needs and their customers the Children’s Hospice will be able to deliver the most precious gift of all this Christmas, the gift of Children’s Hospice care”.

Mobility that makes a difference starts at Friday 11th November until December 23rd. For more information about this fundraising campaign please contact a member of the team at 028 9074 5333.
