We provide ‘Supported Short Breaks’ for children with complex medical conditions and their families.
Our approach involves working closely with the entire family to ensure they make the most of their time with us. Each child receives individualised one-on-one care.
Based on the needs of the family, we can fully take over their care, giving them the chance to rest and cherish their time together.
Sophia's Story
Eleven-month-old Sophia has the most beautiful eyes and a smile that can brighten any room.However, Sophia faces several challenges that necessitate around-the-clock care. Fortunately, the Northern Ireland Children's Hospice is there to support Sophia and the entire family.
During her time at the hospice, Sophia has had the opportunity to experience so much more alongside her family. They enjoy simple pleasures together, such as taking walks in the garden, basking in fresh air and sunlight, and creating lasting bonds with her big brothers.
