Spread holiday cheer - Join our festive 5k!
The Festive 5k returns and is ready to kickstart your holiday season! Come and join us on Sunday 1st December at V36 at The Valley Park (beside the Valley Leisure Centre) Newtownabbey.
This fun-filled family event welcomes participants of all fitness levels, so whether you’re a seasoned runner or just here for the fun there's something for everyone! We've even got a cracking 1km Reindeer Dash for the little ones to enjoy!
Dress to impress in your merriest Christmas attire - we’ll even have a special prize for the best dressed!
We’ll have fun and games on the day too, along with a very special visit from Santa himself!
Important Event Information
Event Running Order
- 8.30 am – Registration opens
- 9:30 am - Welcome & Warm up
- 10:00 am - Kids Reindeer Dash starts
- Approx. 10:15 am – Jingle 5K Group 1 starts (2 laps of the Valley Park)
- Approx. 10.30 am – Fun Run starts for Walkers/ Fun Runners/Dog walkers/Families with Prams/Wheelchair
- The Jingle Run will take place at the V36 at The Valley Park (beside the Valley Leisure Centre) Newtownabbey.
- If you do not attend pre-registration you will be required to register at the event where race numbers can be collected at the sign-posted registration desks.
- Toilet facilities are available in the pavilion and three male and female toilets are available in the V36 Park.
- Limited car parking is available. Please carpool where possible. Additional car parking is available at the Leisure Centre, KFC, Harvey Norman and Tesco on Church Road and these businesses are aware of the event taking place.
- You can bring your sponsorship money along with you on the day or hand it in at a later stage.
- Water will be issued on the day to all participants and distributed at registration.
- Dogs are permitted. However, they must be kept on a lead at all times at the back of the race.
