Important Information about this trip

The Trek to Machu Picchu Challenge is graded as Tough. This is the perfect challenge for participants who are of an adventurous spirit and an open mind and with previous trekking experience.

You will need a good level of fitness in order to undertake this challenge.

You can tell your supporters that on your Trek to Machu Picchu Challenge you will be:

• Trekking an average of 6-8 hours per day
• Trekking at high altitude
• The maximum altitude reached is 4600 metres above sea level
• Trekking through remote areas where facilities are basic
