Birches Vintage Club is set to bring a touch of Nashville to the Seagoe Hotel, Portadown as it hosts its seventh Big Country Night on Saturday 7th March.
The event, which has now become one of the biggest annual fixtures in country music fans calendars, will include performances from some of country’s music rising stars, including headline act, Liam Kelly and his five piece band.
Lorna Watson, Regional Fundraiser at Northern Children’s Hospice, said: “We are absolutely delighted that the Birches Vintage Club has selected Northern Ireland Children’s Hospice to be a beneficiary of this year’s Big Country Night.
Without the support of the local community here in Northern Ireland, and events such as this, we quite simply would be unable to care for over 370 local infants, children and adults living with life-limiting and life-threatening illnesses who require our vital service every year. We are grateful for their support”.
John Wilson, organiser of this year’s event, said: “Every year we see our super hosts The Seagoe Hotel full to capacity for our annual Big Country Night. This year’s event is set to be even bigger and better and we encourage country music fans across the province to come along and enjoy a fun-filled evening, whilst raising vital funds for Northern Ireland Children’s Hospice”.
There will also be a grand raffle on the night with some fantastic prizes up for grabs, including an overnight stay at Slieve Russell Hotel, Co. Cavan, bicycles, TVs and a variety of restaurant vouchers.
Tickets for the event cost £10 per person and can be purchased directly from the Seagoe Hotel reception and at Northern Ireland Children's Hospice, Newtownabbey.
