Hole in one for Harvey Group and NI Children’s Hospice (1)

Last month, Harvey Group hosted its first annual charity golf day in support of NI Children’s Hospice.

Last month, Harvey Group hosted its first annual charity golf day in support of NI Children’s Hospice.


The event had over 70 enthusiastic golfers from businesses across Northern Ireland for a day of tee-riffic fun and fundraising. In total an impressive £4,424 was raised for the charity.


NI Hospice provides specialist palliative care for babies, children and adults living with life-limiting illnesses across Northern Ireland.


Congratulations to the day’s winners who included:

  • Women’s individual winner – Audrey Spence (Independent Healthcare Solutions)
  • Men’s individual winner – Stephen McKee (Harvey Group)
  • Winning team – Harvey Group / YGHP: Jonnie Clarke, Gareth Armstrong, Chris Walker, and Spencer Martin
  • Runners up – McCaig Collim: Iain Hutchinson, Stephen Higgins, Matthew Gilpin, and Andrew Burns
  • Nearest the pin 4th hole – Antony Dorrian (Peninsula Electrical)
  • Nearest the pin 11th hole – Antony Dorrian (Peninsula Electrical)
  • Nearest the pin in two at 18th hole – Spencer Martin (YGHP)
  • Participation trophy – Ryan McLernon (Harvey Group)

Jonnie Clarke, Harvey Group Managing Director, commented: “I want to extend a big thank you to everyone who generously donated and contributed to ensuring this event was a success. We are delighted to be able to donate a fantastic total of £4,424 to a very well deserving charity. I also want to congratulate all of our winners.”

As well as delivering an amazing day of golfing fun, the event has raised a brilliant total in aid of NI Children’s Hospice and will make a tangible difference to those in the local community who need our help the most.
