The COVID-19 pandemic has seen the demand for Hospice services rise, especially as many people want to remain at home surrounded by loved ones. Specialist Community Hospice Nurses across Northern Ireland have been caring for patients and their families, providing palliative care during their most difficult times. Big Coffee Break is one of Northern Ireland Hospice's largest fundraising campaigns with all funds raised going directly towards supporting the work of Community Nurses as they care for local people in the community.

Specialist Community Hospice Nurses across Northern Ireland have been caring for patients and their families, providing palliative care during their most difficult times. Big Coffee Break is one of Northern Ireland Hospice's largest fundraising campaigns with all funds raised going directly towards supporting the work of Community Nurses as they care for local people in the community. 

Now in its 29th year, the Northern Ireland Hospice Big Coffee Break campaign encourages families, friends and local businesses across the country to take a break to enjoy a cuppa with their loved ones, whilst raising vital funds to support the delivery of hospice care services.

The demand for our services continues to increase, and as we only receive a portion of funding from the government, we rely heavily on fundraising campaigns like ‘Big Coffee Break’ to generate vital funds to support our services.

The Northern Ireland Hospice ‘Big Coffee Break’ campaign runs from 30^th August – 3^rd October 2021 and people can host their Big Coffee Break virtually or in-person (abiding by social distancing guidelines). Individuals who sign up will receive their free fundraising pack which includes recipes for their event, bunting, coasters and a bag of delicious Hospice Blend Coffee.
